Professional Guide, Angie Douthit, when not traveling on Tour, she is guiding anglers on the waters of Lake Okeechobee. World famous for the quality of the bass fishing, Okeechobee is an expanse of water covering 735 square miles. When most anglers see this small ocean for the first time, they are immediately notice that it all looks the same. Needless to say, that is not true in the case of the huge bass that ply the waters in search of golden shiners or other baits. The fish select certain areas of the lake, based on season and weather conditions. In order to have the trip of a lifetime, a professional guide can save you days of wandering around just looking for that secret area.

PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVES AND GOALS
Being an avid outdoors person offers me the unique opportunity to share my experiences with others. As a touring professional angler and fishing guide on Lake Okeechobee, I strive in continuing to increase my knowledge of the outdoor market and the unique opportunities it brings. I welcome and enjoy every opportunity to fish and help promote benefit tournaments that are geared towards our youth, the disabled, and all positive promotion and preservation of our lakes and rivers. My future plans and goals includes a day-to-day, year-round schedule attending and participating in national tournaments, major events, seminars, open-houses, marina’s, tackle stores, personal appearances, etc. By attending and participating in these types of marketable events will help to keep me in constant contact with key individuals and companies that are up-to-date with all new innovations and marketable ideas of the fishing industry.
