The bass have been biting in spurts lately on Lake Okeechobee.
There are days that you catch the quantity which
provides a lot of fun and exciting action then top the day off
by catching the “kicker” size bass as well.
Then there days that the quantity will decrease just a
little and catch more bigger bass.
The weather has been all over the board ranging from
hot/sunny to windy, rainy and cooler temperatures, which is
typical this time of year.
Very soon the big female bass will be moving in to
spawn. After the
first major spawn, with each pre/post “full and new moon”, they
will move in and continue to spawn, wave after wave throughout
the winter/spring months,
